Stastny was selected as one of the three best players On Team USA by the USA staff and was the only American named to the all tournament team.

Funny that Schwartz didn't make the US team again.

Great for DU to get the money, but now we have the Knoebel School of Hospitality Management, not to be confused with the Knoebel Center for the Study of Aging. The former is located in the Joy Burns Center, which is not to be confused with Joy Burns Arena, which is in the Daniel L. Ritchie Center for Sports and Wellness, on the opposite side of campus from the Daniel Felix Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science, which is nearer to the building that houses Joy Burns Plaza. Between the two is the Sturm College of Law, which happens to be across from Sturm Hall. The Franklin Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management isn't located in any of those places. Good luck finding your way around!

Just in case you were wondering where the Burns School of RECM was, it's not in the same place as the Daniels Great Hall.

If Dan Ritchie wants the mascot to be a red hawk, a red hawk it is then.

Ritchie did give us the red hawk. He hated Boone, and virtucally all other DU traditions other than the red vest...

Where did you get that Ritchie hates Boone? Last time I talked with him, Dan was wearing a Boone lapel pin.

Ritchie led the charge to get rid of Boone in 1998. He picked the Red Hawk logo, and he named the mascot 'Ruckus'.

He hated everything about Boone back then.

Funny post 3:11. I'll add, and the Daniel's College of business. No, not Ritchie but Bill.

In all seriousness...we could never thank all of these people enough. For the last 30 years+ every person that has graduated from DU has a diploma today that has more prestige and respect than when we originally earned it. These guys and gals have a tremendous amount to do with it.
