The University of Denver volleyball team pushed #11 UCLA all evening long, but came up on the short end of a 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-18) decision on Thursday night in the opening match of the 2013 Denver Invitational.

The loss marked the Pioneers’ second straight following a three-match winning streak and dropped their overall mark to 5-3. UCLA improved its season record to 6-1 with the victory.

Narcissism alert!

Face it!
Boone is the people's choice

If this blog were about narcissism, you'd see picture of Damien every day, not Boone.

Boone the opposite of narcissism - he's all about the collective memory.

Boone has been floating around the DU orbit for 45 years now, and a true Pioneer fan feels a little jolt of pride when we see him. Boone's smiling face allows us to tap into our tradition, marks the time and allows us feel the warm and fuzzy recollections of our times on campus, past and present.

Boone isn't any about any one person - he is all of us!

Narcissism is constantly complaining about the same thing and thinking we care.

Listen, we should all thank DG for:

1.) Bringing back the blog
2.) Staying on Coombe daddy's back about Boone and other administrative nonsense.
3.) Funding a lot of the costs associated with Boone
4.) Bringing Boone back for another year.

Miller is correct. It's great having Boone and the Blog back. I feel a 29th National Championship coming this school year.

Here's a list of mascots for every D1 school.

Guessing Denver is the only school not on the list. It sure as hell isn't my fault that DU doesn't have the brains to get this done.
