Women's Soccer Team Ends 'the streak' with a First Half Header....

...So says our noted local fortune teller about the DU - Portland match Saturday night. We invited her back because some people are gullible when it comes to this stuff and it seems to generate web traffic.

She boldly predicted, " 'the (scoreless) streak' will come to an end at CIBER Field in the 26th minute off a header against the Pilots" but left our session to take paying customer before she could answer the big question, "Will DU win the match, too?" Again, if you don't believe this stuff, you will need to go and see it for yourself Saturday at 7:00 at CIBER Field.

If this prediction comes true, it's probably luck. If incorrect, we  may use her again because people continue to get pulled-in by this kind of a shallow ploy to drive readership.

The fortune teller is a bum, but a cute bum so she can stay. In the summertime, she works out of a shack on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights NJ. She's appeared on episodes of Jersey Shore on MTV. Possibly related to Puck Swami rumor has it.

DU lost to Portland in overtime 2-1, but at least the Pios scored a goal!
