Students prepare for the annual hockey campout
By Carolyn Angiollo on September 29, 2015 On Oct. 3, DU students will rise with the sun in an effort to receive free season hockey tickets.
The 2015 Hockey Campout will begin on the evening of Oct. 2 when students will gather to pitch their tents and roll out their sleeping bags.
Once the sun finally rises, the pep band, cheerleaders and hockey team will greet the fans who have gathered outside of the Ritchie Center. The hockey players bring donuts for their dedicated fans and also give a few speeches before the ticket office opens at 9 a.m.

Great DU tradition. Hopefully Chancellor Chopp takes a bow, for she was instrumental in getting the free ticket campaign organized.
