Alumni UpdateDubielwicz Named To AHL All-Star Team
The AHL announced today that Bridgeport Sound Tigers' goaltender Wade Dubielewicz has been selected to the Canadian AHL All-Star team. Dubielewicz will represent the Sound Tigers at the 2007 Rbk All-Star Classic, January 28-29 at Ricoh Coliseum in
Toronto.
Dubielewicz, a Kerrobert,
Saskatchewan native, joins other top AHL players born in
Canada who will compete against the PlanetUSA All-Stars.
Dubielewicz has appeared in 15 games this season and has eight wins, three regulation losses and three shootout defeats. He has a goals against average of 2.54 and a save percentage of .918.
This is the goaltender's second All-Star selection. Dubielewicz previously played in the 2004 AHL All-Star Game, held in Grand Rapids; the season he set AHL records for goals against average (1.38) and highest save percentage (.946).
