Congrats to the Junior Pioneers.

I'm sure there will be some other Colorado based teams out in Nationals in the various age groups.

We'll keep you posted on the results.

Lets hope the DU Pioneers match the kids efforts with a trophy this weekend in St. Paul

Early money on Brian Hawkinson younger brother of 2013 DU recruit Brad Hawkinson.

I like the stats of Arapahoe's Adam Anderson. 9 goals, 1 assist. When was the last time DU had a pure sniper?

Maybe Dwight Mathiason?

I hope its Tyler Poon, he'll make INCH's all name team for sure

Rick Berens. The purest sniper DU has had in the past 30-some years. If he had the luxury of a Dallas Gaume feeding him gifts, he would have had 120 goals in his career.

Jason Elders is another.

Jason Elders had double the goals of any other DU player in the '93-94 season -- 26 to 13, I do believe. Pure sniper, just not enough support around him...

This is Tier II, correct?

Second on Brian Hawkinson, DU seems to like to recruit brothers, ie: Ostrow, Shore, Mermis, etc. As the Thunderbirds top scorer last season on a line with Baker Shore, and the Jr. Pioneers big scorer this year-sounds like he and the youngest Shore would bring some scoring to the varsity Pioneers in the future.
