DU recruit Landon Smith (5'10 168 lbs.) is in his rookie season for the Cedar Rapids Rough Ridgers. So far this season he has 4 goals and an assist in 20 USHL games.
The shorthanded goal scored above was a beauty (Dec. 9 vs. Green Bay).

If Zucker, Shore and/or Bennett go pro after the season, look for Landon Smith to be on the short list to come to DU a year early.

What would happen if the Roughriders played the Trojans? Oh never mind. Great goal.
If Shore and Bennett go pro they are in for a lot of long bus rides. Neither one is NHL Caliber for a few years. Zucker might make it but only because of who drafted him..They all should stay for another year.
