Lots of interesting nuggets in the article, but its troubling to hear that Makowski, Bennett & Larraza are not cleared to practice.

I assumed Makowski would be ready to go by this weekend. I am surprised that Drew Shore is just now returning to practice.

Makowski situation is obviously very troubling. Best of luck to him as he recovers.

Does "upper body" include concussion in hockey speak?

Miller,

Keep in mind schools are not allowed to hold formal practices during the bye week so there was no need to clear anyone before Monday this week. Drew may have been skating on his own with the other players informally last week.

Viz,
Yes, amomg other upper body injuries.

Check that, Gwoz just said DU practiced on Wed, Thurs and Fri last week after giving everyone a couple of days off. On Saturday, the boys went up to Evergreen and played pond hockey which DG has pictures of in the blog. He also said that this weekend are two very important games for both DU's league standings as well as national tourney positioning.
