The Denver Post is reporting that University of Denver freshman wing Ty Loney has been suspended and will begin serving his punishment in this weekend's home-and-home series with rival Colorado College.
Why would he be suspended by the Gwoz? What could he have done? Did he fuck multiple underage girls, while drunk, in public, while whistling the CC Fight Song?
Are they required by the NCAA to publicly disclose if a student-athlete gets suspended? Must be; otherwise they could just simply say he was a scratch; or, his skates got stolen; or he had direhhia.... or he was snowed in his apartment. Also interesting to think about, would we fans feel any different about it if say, he was suspended for fighting for a vicious hit from behind or something like that......
When Gwozdecky suspends someone "indefinitely" it is usually for more than 1-2 games. Otherwise, he would have likely said Loney is out for Friday or for the weekend.

Hey probably should have talked to Chris Knowlton about suspensions before he walked off the cliff.
Let's hope it is a MINOR infraction and he doesn't miss as many games as Knowlton did.

Chambers in an updated article said DU told him that indefinitely could only mean 1 game. let's hope so.
That's thing about DU. They don't care how good of a player you are, if you mess up it's your head and I respect that.
