Saturday night was just as intriguing as DU scored three goals within 91 seconds late in the third period to stun the Bulldogs in regulation 4-3.
With the series sweep over Duluth DU jumped back into a tie for third place in the WCHA race and 10th place in the Pairwise Rankings.

Can't turn away for a second.
Had to leave when DU was down 3-1 late in the third.
Came back to this great surprise!!!!
DU has to have a remarkable record in the past decadeagainst UMD when trailing in the third period.
Sweeeeeet! My partner and I were watching that Semi-Final game against UMD in Duluth in Houston. She's a Clarkson fan and we were doing our best to keep our minds in anchoring the afternoon news. We looked up and DU got one. We looked up again and DU got another one. And then again. And finally the ENG at the end. IIRC, Duluth was something like 26-0-1 that year when leading after two. Tonight's win, while not quite in the category of that FF victory, was special nonetheless.
That's what I'm talking about DU! :)
Colorado College tied UAA twice this weekend. Looks like the Tigers could be poised for a collapse of epic proportions if DU can stick a knife in them next weekend.
You know there is nothing better than kicking CC when they are down. I hope they remember to bring the Gold Pan with them. Magness will be rocking Friday night. Can't wait!!!!!
Altogether now:
CC SUCKS
The bad thing about CC being so terrible is that all of the points we'll have amassed against them won't help us much.
Great weekend series time to keep it rolling against CC. I'm making the trip Saturday!
