Last week, the University of Denver hockey team was without coach George Gwozdecky for two games with
Minnesota-Duluth. The Pioneers desperately needed wins to make a late
push for more favorable seeding in the WCHA tournament. Without
Gwozdecky, whose father passed away late last weekend, the team persevered
and headed back to Colorado with four points after two wins over the
Bulldogs, earning CHN's Team of the Week honor for their performance
under some difficult circumstances [read entire article].

Nice honor for Coach Miller. DU has so many great coaches in all their sports and some of the hardest working are the assistants.
No question Coach Killer did a geeat job in Duluth. After listening to the press conference there is no question Gwoz is smoother more adroit at coach speak.
