The DU Lacrosse team was upset by Penn State 15-12 on Sunday. The game was played on the home field of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Seems that DU lax has trouble winning these nationally televised games. They laid an egg vs. Ohio State last year on TV, too. Appeared to me that the turning point of game was when the DU goalie committed a god-awful turnover near midfield which resulted in a Penn State "empty net" goal. Ugly. I hope the team improves, and that the DU player's knee injury is not serious.
Did anybody watch UM-UW at soldier field yesterday? That game sure was hyped up as a big 10 game. The only inkling of the WCHA at all, was on the refs' jerseys. Sure looks like DU will not have home ice for the wcha playoffs on March 15
The WCHA is a "Lame-Duck" league.
I've got no problem with the B1G or NCHC preparing for the future.
Wish the NCHC would be more pro-active.
