Attendance was 4,000 down around one thousand from a year ago. Guessing it was the worst opening night attendance since Magness Arena was opened.
Congrats to Monty on his first W. This young DU team worked hard tonight, Brittain stood tall, and it was a solid team win. I'm looking forward to seeing how this team gels as we move forward, but I liked a lot of what I saw tonight.
Chambers mentions DU's attendance woes and Boone situation in game recap.
Who thought it was a good idea to schedule a soccer match at the same time as hockey tonight? I would have liked to attend both.
Yeah its opening night, but its against Merrimack. I wouldn't look too deep into it attendance wise just yet.
Hey, DG...how's about posting a nightly game thread, so that we don't have to resort to the USCHO bullshit?

Yeah. No shit. I'm at the game. I'm just suggesting that it would be nice to have a dedicated place to comment on tonight's game.
Ring: Start your own dedicated site. Until then, the USCHO update chat will more them handle the load.
