In what is shaping up as a great future volleyball rivalry, UNO women's volleyball is not satisfied with their Summit League final's appearance against DU at Hamilton Arena. In their first year of D1 competition, they gave DU all they could handle in a 5 set loss in the championship tournament. They are eager to continue to build their upstart program and believe they have the capability and facilities to build a championship squad. Nebraska is a volleyball hotbed and they will have plenty of prospects to draw from when they hit the recruiting trail later this year to replace six departing seniors.
