Veideman Out 2-3 Weeks

DU "Supersub" Adrian Veideman will miss two to three weeks due to a shoulder seperation suffered in the UMASS game. Veideman has played every position except goaltender for the Pioneers and on every possible line over the past two seasons, was responsible for stabilizing the defense the past two weekends.

He was hospitalized last night due to a staph infection and had successful surgery to clean out the shoulder and provide antibotics.

In the UMASS game Veideman had a goal and two assists while playing defense. In recent weeks his work on the blueline on DU's 1st Power Play unit was instrumental in improving the effectiveness of the special teams.
