Denver @ UAA Seawolves

Drop the Puck has been suspended, but his Blog is in high gear and he has a good review of UAA's matchup with DU.

UAA has struggled traditionally on Friday nights so DU needs to jump on UAA's excellent goaltender Nathan Lawson early.
.
According to Adam Woden of College Hockey News.com, "It's not been fun for UAA goalies this year. Nathan Lawson and John DeCaro have faced 961 shots this season, while teammates have taken 634. It means their save percentages aren't terrible considering all the goals allowed. Nobody on the roster has a positive plus-minus, and Justin Bourne is a minus-20."

With Minnesota playing Wisconsin twice this weekend DU has the opportunity to gain ground on one or both of them. Ideally DU would hope for a Minnesota sweep since DU would control its own destiny with a series in Minneapolis in a couple of weeks.
