Bozak in his third year with the Victoria Grizzlies of the British Columbia Hockey League, was the teams leading scorer last year and has picked up right where he left off. This season he is the leading scorer in the league with 16 goals and 34 assists in 20 games. Victoria has moved into first place with a 17-2-0-1 record.

“Tyler is one of the most complete players I have had the pleasure of coaching,” commented Head Coach Rylan Ferster
.
Tyler, who hails from Regina, Saskatewan, was the team's leading scorer last season and is entering his third and final year. He was named the Grizzlies Captain off his spectacular season last year.

Coach Ferster added, "Tyler epitomizes what we want our program to be about; commitment, sacrifice and accountability. He was one of the leaders through our playoff run last year. He leads by example and will do anything to win. That was never more evident than last year in the playoffs when he battled through an injury that would have kept a lot of other players out. He plays in every situation and makes other players around him better. Tyler is a first class individual."

I really like this pick up by Gwoz.
Tyler's 2.6 points per game compare favorably to Gabe Gauthier's numbers in his lone season with the Chilliwack Chiefs in the same league. However the cavet being that Tyler is 20 years old and Gabe was 17 or 18 at the time.
If Tyler can develop his game at DU he has a chance to be a very good player and a leader on the Pioneers.
According to Chris Heisenberg, "Guys like Kyle Greentree and Les Reaney have become pretty good college players after leading the BCHL in scoring as 20 year olds, but it's more of a gamble, in my opinion."
I'll take the gamble.
I think that was Chris Dilks at WCH that said that after I briefly profiled the uncommitted BCHL players earlier this week.
BTW ... is the blogger beta better? Early adoption was never my forte ... works ok?
Donald,
Chris Wilks, Chris Heisenberg whats the diff...ok WCH said it...
