Colorado College Alum Arrested
Charges include: No License, No Insurance & "Pulling a Runner"
Former Colorado College hockey player Brady Greco faces some serious charges due to a December 19th car accident in Johnstown, PA. The Johnstown Tribune Democrat reports that Greco faces at least six charges stemming from a traffic accident. DU fans may remember that Greco spent much of the third period in the 2005 Frozen Four semi-final in the penalty box (DU scored six power play goals in the game). Greco began his NCAA career with Michigan Tech before transferring to CC.Greco’s matter is very serious. Johnstown police charged Greco with driving without a license, accidents involving personal injury while not being properly licensed, failure to immediately notify police of an accident, recklessly driving, careless driving and not having the required financial responsibility. Greco allegedly fled the scene of a traffic accident early Sunday morning.
Belec said neither the Chiefs nor Tampa Bay Lightning could comment on Tuesday. He said the organization would address the matter when all the details are gathered and scrutinized, a process made more difficult by the break in the schedule that had much of the team out of town.
In a related story, DU Alum Paul Stastny scored a goal and had three assists for the Colorado Avalanche on the same day as Greco was arrested.

Ah, Greco. What a winner. I've got a great memory of him a few years back... he came to Tech with the Tigers...and while he's sitting in the penalty box and the Misfits are harrassing him, he turns back and yells at us, "You're all a bunch of fucking nerds!" Hilarious, considering he used to be one of us.

Why did he leave Michigan Tech? Looks like he played in 24 games and had a goal and 8 assists. Not bad for a Freshman defenseman...
Perhaps academic problems? He isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer as we all know.
With that little stunt Greco should have gone to North Dakota. Would have fit right in. It does sound as if he is following John Scott's example. Not surprising that Greco went to CC as he is a loser and went to a loser school.
Greco left Michigan because Colorado College was number one in the nation you fools! And if anyone can quote an athlete, human being, or anybody else they know who is perfect and hasn't gotten into trouble, i'd like to hear it. This poor kid had his life opened up to media scrutiny because of a corrupt organization. One can only imagine the humiliation and punishment he must suffered thanks to the NHL. Greco was drafted straight out of Colorado College to the NHL, and finished college in 2 years. Think before you comment fools
I hope no one was seriously hurt from the accident that he fled from.
