DENVER - University of Denver junior forward Ryan Dingle has earned All-WCHA Third Team honors, announced today by the Western Collegiate Hockey Association at the league's annual awards banquet at the RiverCentre. The third team honors is the second consecutive for Dingle, who leads Denver in goals (22), power-play goals (9), shorthanded goals (2) and game-winning goals (4).
Dingle netted 15 goals and nine assists for 24 points in 28 league games for the Pioneers, who finished fourth in the WCHA with a 13-11-4 record. Dingle netted five multi-point games in league play, including his second career hat trick in a 5-1 win over Minnesota State on Dec. 9.
He is DU's active career scoring leader with 55-43--98 in 121 games. Dingle is tied for third all-time at DU with six career shorthanded goals and 14 career game-winning goals.
