University of Denver senior goaltender Glenn Fisher was selected as a finalist for the men's hockey Senior CLASS Award, a student-athlete honor based on academics, character, community and athletics.
Fisher, a two-time All-WCHA Academic Team and Scholar-Athlete Award winner, has helped the No. 6 Pioneers to a 21-12-3 overall record. He is enjoying his finest season as a Pioneer with a 13-7-2 record and career bests in GAA (2.30) and Sv% (.920). Fisher's season has been highlighted by shutouts at league rivals Wisconsin (Nov. 10) and Minnesota (Jan. 19).
Joining Fisher as finalists are: Matt Anderson of Massachusetts, David Brown of Notre Dame, Billy Devoney of Air Force, Curtis Fraser of Alaska-Fairbanks, Jeff Jakaitis of Lake Superior State, Michel Léveillé of Maine, Kirk MacDonald of Rensselaer, Ryan Mahrle of Western Michigan and Nate Raduns of St. Cloud State.
