University of Denver senior goaltender Glenn Fisher was selected as a finalist for the men's hockey Senior CLASS Award, a student-athlete honor based on academics, character, community and athletics.

Fisher, a two-time All-WCHA Academic Team and Scholar-Athlete Award winner, has helped the No. 6 Pioneers to a 21-12-3 overall record. He is enjoying his finest season as a Pioneer with a 13-7-2 record and career bests in GAA (2.30) and Sv% (.920). Fisher's season has been highlighted by shutouts at league rivals Wisconsin (Nov. 10) and Minnesota (Jan. 19).

Joining Fisher as finalists are: Matt Anderson of Massachusetts, David Brown of Notre Dame, Billy Devoney of Air Force, Curtis Fraser of Alaska-Fairbanks, Jeff Jakaitis of Lake Superior State, Michel Léveillé of Maine, Kirk MacDonald of Rensselaer, Ryan Mahrle of Western Michigan and Nate Raduns of St. Cloud State.

The winner will be determined by votes from coaches and media, and by a nationwide open vote. Fans can vote beginning March 10 at www.seniorclassaward.com .
