It was a close vote between the University of Nebraska-Omaha's dynamic duo and the University of North Dakota's two time arrestee Robbie Bina, but at the end of the day the LetsGoDU readers sided with Bobby Henderson and Adam Bartholomay.
.
Back in February two University of Nebraska-Omaha hockey players were arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in Council Bluffs and were suspended for the rest of the season by head coach Mike Kemp. Senior Bobby Henderson (upper left), 24, and sophomore Adam Bartholomay (lower left), 23 were arrested. The charges against Bartholomay were later dropped.
.
According to Council Bluffs police reports, officers were called to Harrah's Casino about some intoxicated males causing a disturbance.
.
When officers confronted Henderson, the report said, he told police, "I am a hockey player. I'll get out of this ." Inside the police car, the report said, Henderson began to head butt the cage and yell "I play for the Mavs. You can't (expletive) with me.
.
What made the story priceless is that the UNO Athletics Website lists Henderson's major as "Criminal Justice."

The suspensions handed out to the two players, the coach said, were a result of their violating team rules by being involved in such an incident.

Henderson, a 6-foot defenseman from Langley, B.C., had no goals and one assist in 12 games this season. He'll finish his UNO career with zero goals, five assists and 185 penalty minutes in 64 games.

Bartholomay, a 5-11 forward and defenseman from Agoura Hills, Calif., had 19 points while playing in 30 of the Mavs' 32 games in 2006-07. One of UNO's most versatile skaters, Bartholomay was tied for third on the team with 10 goals.
.
Congratulations and good luck to everyone next year.
