"Pretty Boy" Rakhshani Gets Tooth Knocked Out
From: Facebook.com & USA Hockey's Website

Not sure if this qualifies as an internet rumor, but our friends over at WCHA Blog alerted us to this news. Rhett Rakhshani posted this quote on a Facebook Wall yesterday:

"I went for a hit today and somehow got my front tooth knocked out...so I'm kind of ugly right now and maybe need a root canal or whatever it is. I find out tomorrow. But yeah its sad."
Apparently Rakhshani's face met with someone's elbow. He is expected to play tonight in Team White's opener against Sweden (7 pm ET).

No word yet if this will compromise Rakhshani's chances of making the 2007-08 All-Hottie Team.

On a hockey related note, Rakhshani & Tyler Ruegsegger's Team White capped another comeback victory over Team Blue yesterday during the 2007 USA Hockey National Junior Evaluation Camp at the Olympic Center. Chris Summers notched a power-play goal with 41 seconds left in the game to lift Team White to a 4-3 win over Team Blue.

Team White’s Rhett Rakhshani (Huntington Beach, Calif.) opened the scoring in the first period with a shorthanded goal at the 9:41 mark.
