Team USA with DU recruit John Lee playing defense defeated Belarus in overtime 7-6, while Canada West featuring future Pioneer Joe Colborne rolled over Germany 7-2. Colborne netted the game winner for Canada West late in the 1st period.
The round robin comes to an end on Wednesday evening at the World Junior A Challenge, with automatics berths in the semi-finals at stake. Canada West and Russia, both at 1-0, face off in Trail, while USA faces Canada East in Nelson.
