DU freshman defenseman John Ryder will miss the rest of the season with a broken hand. Ryder, who has played in nine games, tried to resume playing with a cast, but the injury has worsened.
Ryder was a pleasant surprise for the Pioneers this season after playing for the Ohio Jr. Bluejackets in the USHL last season. There has been some speculation that Ryder may be eligible for a "red shirt" season.

That's a shame. I thought Ryder was developing nicely. Seems like Ryder and Nutini will relied on quite a bit next year.
Any news on Jackson? I didn't seem him play over the weekend. Battling the flu or something else?
Mullen moving back to forward removes someone from the equation.
Heard that Jackson either had the flu or was a "healthy scratch."
