What are others hearing about Shore? Last I heard he was planning on coming to DU. Then again, it's hard to believe anyone these days, the way people change their minds.
Everything that I have read indicates that he is still undecided but he wants to play in the NHL ASAP. Chilliwack will press hard to sign him arguing that the OHL is the best overall route to the pros. Hard to argue with that one.
Both of his parents went to DU Law School. His family lives in Denver and his brothers all attended hockey camps at DU. If there was ever a mortal lock for a player attending DU this would have to be it.
A couple of months ago the Chilliwack Rumor was put to rest by impeachable sources. Things can change but DU is probably a 90-10 favorite over the WHL.
It's highly unlikely that DU misses out on Shore. He's a local kid who will have the chance to play in the premier conference in NCAA hockey for one of the best coaches in the nation, at a very strong academic institution, all in his own backyard. Major junior will have to pull some serious magic to get him.

Hopefully he'll actually join DU, my bets are he turns towards the WHL.
