The Isles website has a feature article on DU recruit and Islander draft pick Matt Donovan.
Matt Donovan is still in shock after being drafted by the Islanders in the fourth round over a month ago. What makes his selection even more shocking is the fact that Donovan is the first drafted hockey player to be born and raised in the state of Oklahoma.A native of Edmond, a suburb outside of Oklahoma City, Donovan picked up the sport of hockey thanks to his dad Larry, who is a native of Boston and avid Bruins fan.
Some posters over on HF Boards were impressed by Peter Mannino in today's first session.
Peter Mannino (G)- in 40 GP with Denver he had 25 wins and 14 losses with a .917 save% and a 2.26 GAA. Today he looked fantastic as he was making some incredible saves and looked very sharp. Honestly I could see this guy stepping right in. He definitely has a lot of potential from what I saw today.
Good call on Mannino. In the first two drills, he pretty much stoned everyone.

I'm liking that shirt!
He's a great kid. He's worked with my son at a couple camps. I hope he does well.
I agree. Awesome that he's wearing a DU shirt.
