Matt Donovan at Isles Prospects Camp

The Isles website has a feature article on DU recruit and Islander draft pick Matt Donovan.

Matt Donovan is still in shock after being drafted by the Islanders in the fourth round over a month ago. What makes his selection even more shocking is the fact that Donovan is the first drafted hockey player to be born and raised in the state of Oklahoma.

A native of Edmond, a suburb outside of Oklahoma City, Donovan picked up the sport of hockey thanks to his dad Larry, who is a native of Boston and avid Bruins fan.

Some posters over on HF Boards were impressed by Peter Mannino in today's first session.
Peter Mannino (G)- in 40 GP with Denver he had 25 wins and 14 losses with a .917 save% and a 2.26 GAA. Today he looked fantastic as he was making some incredible saves and looked very sharp. Honestly I could see this guy stepping right in. He definitely has a lot of potential from what I saw today.
Good call on Mannino. In the first two drills, he pretty much stoned everyone.

He's a great kid. He's worked with my son at a couple camps. I hope he does well.
