USA Drops First Tourney Game To Russia 5-1

DU recruit Paul Phillips and his USA Under-18 Teammates were rudely welcomed to the Ivan Hlinka Tournament in the Czech Republic with a 5-1 thrashing by Team Russia.

In a rough game that saw 70 minutes of penalties assessed by the referees, the US could not keep up with the pace set by the Russians.
