1). Denver - "Colborne Express" arrived in Boonetown later than expected
2). Minnesota - What do you know. The Gophers don't suck anymore.
3). Air Force - Undefeated and untied for the best record in college hockey
4). Boston University - Manhandled Lowell like Chancellor Coombe treated Boone
5). Boston College - 4 more National Championships and they'll be tied with DU
6). Michigan - Has to spend hockey profits propping up underachieving football program
7). Northeastern - Defeated Bentley, the school not the car. We think Northeastern is more like a Chrysler 300. You know, a poser that pretends it's a Bentley.
8). New Hampshire - "Colorado College" of the East played like Michigan Tech against Gophers
9). St. Cloud - We give the Huskies an artificially high ranking so that if DU sweeps, it looks more impressive to the national media. Pretty sneaky, eh?
10). Wisconsin - May be the best 3-6-1 team in college hockey history. Who selected their schedule? Attila the Hun or the guy who thought that Patrick Wiercioch (4 goals, 5 assists in 9 games) wasn't ready for NCAA hockey?
Last). Colorado College - Nice loss to North Dakota on Friday night

The LetsGoDU Super Poll® is a scientific analysis factoring strength of schedule, player statistics and coaching tendencies. Then Denver is automatically placed in the one hole, CC is placed last and the rest of the teams more or less settle where they might likely finish.

Great weekend for the Pios getting their 2nd series sweep against a WCHA opponent. UMD is a scrappy team and improved from last year, in my opinion.
The floodgates have hopefully opened for Big Joe.
I'm sure St. Cloud is hungry for their 1st league win, so this weekend should be a battle.
DU needs to focus on St. Cloud and not look past them to the Gophers. Thats our job. :-)
