He is the "Rubberband Man". The Pios are on a roll, no doubt. CC and Minnesota were not impressive yesterday. The annoucers talked about Kangas and Bachman being the premier goaltenders in the WCHA, obviously Chevy needs to be at the top of that list.

That is sweet!

That's just not right.

The pass was great and the goal was sweet, but what a fantastic play by all the players to transition the puck out of the defensive zone.

Ostrow to Testwuide to Ruegsegger to Colborne. One second they're trying to clear the puck, the next its in the back of Minnesota State's net.

I said earlier Bachman is a great goalie but would fade. Though it happened a lot sooner then I expected. It will be interesting to see if the winter break gives him the rest he needs. Though we Pios were right when we said "He's All You Got!"

Chevy should be considered one of the top goalies in the WCHA. This is only his first season and he's easily proven that he can hold his own against some of the top teams. I will admit though... I worry if he can take the whole season. I know we are not CC we have talent all round, I just don't want to see him burn out like Mannino did last season come tournament time.

Finally... sick pass from the Rubberband Man. Colborn... started slow but I think he's found his style of play in college hockey. It's too bad we can't compare college hockey with Canadian juniors more.

By the way when I said Chevy first season... I met his first full season and the #1 goalie.

Mannino carried DU through the Final 5, so I'm not sure that fatigue was the problem. We just got our ass kicked against Sconnie.

John Muse of BC played every game and won the NC last season.

Any goalie worth his weight in salt should be able to play 40+ games a year especially when you only play twice a week. When a team has a #1 and a #1A the coach is forced to alternate them. This year and last year, DU only had a #1 and pretty much he gets to start every game.

That was one sick pass. As for a goalie playing all games, I respect John Muse for what he did last year. But, if you have two goalies that are both good, I don't see a problem with rotation. BU is doing it this year and is fairly successful :-)

Hoping to play Denver at the Cup!
