(above) DU has sported many different looks and colors over the yearsIts going to be a special evening in Magness Arena on Saturday night against Colorado College. TV commentator Charlie Host mentioned last Friday night that DU would break out "throwback" jerseys against Colorado College.
There are many possibilities. The jerseys would be a nice touch reminding CC of their last National Championship in ice hockey. The 1958, '60, '61, '68, '69, '04 or '05 jerseys to commemorate any one of DU's seven National Championships would also be a good idea. If DU was really thinking, they could break out the "Boone" Jersey's from the late seventies.
We'll try and find out what era the jerseys are from.

Any word if the throwback jerseys will be available for purchase?
I believe they will be available for sale to the public next season. My understanding is DU will wear them several times next season including the 60th Anniversary games against Vermont in October. I haven't heard which throwbacks will be used.

Is the unofficial 2009-10 schedule out anywhere yet? Besides Vermont, do we know DU's other non conference foes?
I had it and misplaced it so its not like a trade secret or anything.

Boone jerseys might go for $1,000 each at the auction. :-)
Isn't DU playing Oh State again? but this time at Columbus?
ummm pretty sure those are not throwback jerseys they are wearing. Maybe the Denver "arch" is at a different angle?
