LetsGoDU In The News Around North America

The Pipeline Radio Show out of Edmonton, Canada will interview LetsGoDU blogger DG on Tuesday night at 7:45 PM (MDT). Hosts Dean Millard & Guy Flaming usually interview top hockey prospects including many current and former Pioneers. This week they'll quiz DG on the "Boone Issue," mascots and DU's playoff chances. You can listen live on the Internet or we'll post a link to a recording of the interview on Wednesday.

The UAA Fan Blog thinks LetsGoDU is the best blog in college hockey this year. They credit the "Boone Issue" for our meteoric rise and offer all sorts of interesting parables. Its usually the "Reader Comments" that makes a blog interesting or relevant and LetsGoDU has many great posters that share their thoughts with us every day. UAA Fan Blog is always well written and one of our favorite college hockey blogs, so its nice to share the love.

In case you missed it last week, Mike Chambers of the Denver Post threw some love our way in his blog as well, so here's the link.

Nice props and all well deserved. The blog has become a "must read" for a lot of people, especially those concerned with DU and mascot/spirit issues, and the new content generated here every day keeps them coming back. It's a central information resource that does things that a school site could never do.

There is a lot of energy going into this blog, and I could really see it blog evolving into a more dynamic DU oriented site along the lines of some of the other great school-specific college hockey sites such as Sioux Sports, Gopher Puck Live, etc.

Just got through listening to your interview, Damien. Good job, especially with talking about Boone.

BTW,I didn't know that you were a closet CC fan. HA HA HA. Just kidding, dear.

...and I won't comment on Guy and Dean drooling over the girls on in the Boone shirts. Although, they might need a lobster bib right about now.

Thanks everyone.

This blog is certainly taking me on an interesting journey. Speaking to classes at DU, radio interviews and meeting tons of great people.

I should be able to post a link to the radio interview sometime tomorrow.
