Hockey Awards Dinner Postponed Due To Weather

DENVER - The 53rd Annual University of Denver Hockey Awards Evening slated for tonight at The Cable Center has been postponed until Friday, May 8 due to inclement weather.

Heavy snow and rain in the Denver Metro Area has forced the postponement.

The awards evening will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 8 at The Cable Center. For registration information, please contact Ruth Lipson at ruth.lipson@du.edu or 303.871.3397.

18 inches so far up here at 8000ft. and still snowing at about 1 inch per hour. Forcast is for snow all day and tonight. When it breaks 3 ft. I'll send another notice. We need the moisture badly,and this is that east coast cement snow that is loaded with moisture. Sunday is snow shoeing time.

Broke 3 ft. easily. Questionis:did it hit 4 ft? Most of us up here at 8000 ft think yes.
