Games are 5PM MT not 6PM MT.

It must suck for you being right all the time. Nice catch. :-)

Ohio is in the Eastern Time Zone.

I wish I was right all the time ;-)

If I was I would have won the Mega Millions Lottery.

on tv?

No TV this weekend. Thursday's game will be videocast on Pioneer Vision for a fee at www.denverpioneers.com. Friday's game can be heard on Friday on Pioneer Vision.

what's the scouting report on osu?

I'm sure the Columbus newspaper will have something on the series tomorrow.

But a brief recap. DU split with OSU last year at Magness after dominating the Friday night game.

OSU have lost their only 3 games including an exhibition game against Western Canada.

DU should mop the floor with these guys, but after last weekend who knows?

Maiani back should be a huge upgrade for DU and every line will be stronger as a result.

Look for the goaltender rotation for DU and one less Freshman defenseman in the lineup each night.

DU Wins 5-1 on Friday and 3-2 on Saturday.

DU needs to sweep this week. I don't the Buckeyes will be a pushover, but this is the type of non-conference matchup that DU should win every time. Last year's series with OSU was very disappointing, so the Pios should be ready to go.

OSU's PK was effective against Quinnipiac, but their PP was anemic. Assuming DU's PP may be better than Quinns, OSU could be in big trouble.
At least I hope so.:-}

I'll go for a DU sweep.

DU sweeps.

Anybody have a video feed? Pioneer Vision isn't working, or isn't free anymore.

1. Pioneer Vision should work 2. It should be free to students 3. It should be advertised heavily to build spirit.

Given the new ticket policy and if Pioneer Vision is indeed not free, DU is nickel and diming students- a terrible way to raise school spirit.

Try AM 820 Ohio State Hockey's Radio home.

Looks like Chevy is getting back into form. Lets hope Murray follows his example.

Though Chevy looked fantastic last night, the rest of the team looked very sub-par and slow. Hopefully they can pick it up tonight.

I posted this question on the link with the game score, but I'll try it here also...

the box score say OSU went 0-9 on the power play. On one hand that is great PK for us and Chevy, but that is a heck of lot of penalties to give up. As I couldn't see the game, I have a question for any of you that did... was this just "tight" officiating or were we that undisciplined ?

I only listened to the game on the radio, but the DU announcer didn't seem to mind the calls. 8 on Ohio State & 9 on DU seems about average to me.

Factor in that CCHA refs probably call the games tighter than the WCHA with less clutching and grabbing allowed.

Probably hard for the players to get psyched up for playing in front of maybe 500 fans.

DU did a nice job of killing off a 5 on 3 to end the 2nd period which is another positive takeaway from the game.

OSU radio guys (who sounded like a couple of nerds talking about a video game, not a hockey game) said that CCHA refs called much tighter games than WCHA refs (though there was no mention of the quality of those calls).

I think Swami mentioned the same thing.

A shutout on the road--I'll take that everytime. Good to hear Shore scored his first collegiate goal.

The game did sound like a penalty-fest. Glad DU's PK was up to the task. Some of these refs need to put away the whistles and stop screwing up the flow of the game.
