Nice road hockey by the Pios to pull out game one. It was a pretty even game, and it's nice to see the Pioneers win one down there for the first time since 2006 when Statsny scored in OT.

Smart road win tonight. The D and the kill were both impressive. Chevy was solid. I was impressed by Ruggs and Rhett who was rock solid on the kill tonight. Nice to see Cody back with a very solid game tonight. Let's step up and get the sweep

I think the big ice does a lot to cover up DU's weaknesses- our transition game seemed a lot better on the big sheet. Smart play and solid effort gave us the win.

I agree that we look better on the big ice where our forwards can wheel and deal and have space to operate.

How many times did Chevy save our bacon?

What a lonely, sad and pathethic trophy case.

Looks like Saturday night's game is a sellout. Ticketmaster doesn't have any tickets for sale on the website.

You might want to call the DU ticket office just in case there were some tickets returned at the last minute.

Yes! There might be some sad and dejected kitty cat fans that turn them in rather then suffer through it two night in a row.

I don't think CC looks as talented as they did last year.

Great game and a great victory for DU. Seems like an eternity since the Pios have beaten CC.

The Tigers really impressed me. For a team that lost some key players they seemed to have filled the holes, and Howe certainly looks like he belongs. Should be another great battle tonight.
