We should get the whiteout goin every home game next year.
At Penn State football games, 110,000 people wear white. It's just understood.
I think it's a great idea. Especially since Magness has a tendency to be "dark" and drab.
We need some students to head up a project like this.
DU needs to really upgrade the clothing choices for the fans.
We need Gwoz and the coaching staff to wear White James Bond style Tux jackets on Friday night. :-)
If Gwoz wears the Bond jacket can he tell the Boyz that CC should be "shaken, not stirred"?
If DU would produce a decent white sweatshirt or hoodie with "DENVER HOCKEY" on it for less than $50 I'd buy one in a second!
Actually, offering that white sweatshirt at a reasonable discount over the rest of the stuff they sell would be a great way to promote this whole "white-out" idea
But since when has DU ever listened to the fans or alum?
What if LetsGoDU produced something like that?

Damien....screw the sweatshirt idea. How about putting out a white neck brace? With a nice DU logo? Perhaps you might be asking, what the hell is the significance of a neck brace? Well, I don't know about y'all here...... but I for one can attest - I already need a Chiropractor to look up at those 7 banners. And having to deal with EIGHT will just be torture on my neck next fall !

In the offseason we need to sit down with DU and find out if they want to get serious about merchandising, Boone and internet sales.
Clearly the biggest frustration for our fans is the lack of good or interesting clothing and the lack of accessibility in purchasing items.
DU is leaving millions of dollars behind, while raising tuition because of a lack of revenue.
I have an idea, paint your seats white at Magness. Then you will always have whiteout.:)
9:45 - shut up dick ;-) that was actually pretty funny. Although, it's not so much getting people to come to the games as it is getting them to participate. I'd rather have 2,500 intense fans than 5,500 of the people that normally come.
We won't have that problem this weekend though. I expect a full arena and lots of intensity in the building...especially if it's a close game.
Isn't it called a white out, when you lock Hextall and Dirty in a room for a romantic weekend?
