(above) Team USA will have two exhibition games to prepare for the World Under-18 Championships in BelarusOn Thursday the USA Under-18 team will begin exhibition play at the World Under-18 Championships in Belrus. DU recruits Nick Shore and Jason Zucker will play for Team USA. The USA is the defending champion in this event after upsetting Canada last year. DU players William Wrenn and Adam Murray won Gold Medals for Team USA.
For Zucker it will be his last opportunity to impress the NHL scouts before the NHL Combine this summer. He has been projected as a possible 2nd Round pick by several websites and scouting services.
Zucker has being playing against older players virtually his entire career, so competing against international athletes his own age or younger should enable him to showcase his considerable talent. He was very impressive at the World Under-20 Tournament over Christmas and played on Team USA's first line.
Nick Shore won't be eligible until the 2011 NHL Draft, but he will be looking to solidify his status as a potential first round pick in 2011. He has been described as more skilled but not quite as big as his older brother Drew who completed his first year at DU this past season.

Did you see him play at the WJCs? He hit everything that moved and he did it as a 17 year old in a 19 year old's tounrey on the world stage. That's nads.
