The 2010 U.S. Men’s National Under-18 Team dropped Czech Republic 6-0 in the quarterfinals of the 2010 International Ice Hockey Federation World Men’s Under-18 Championship. DU recruit Nick Shore scored the 5th goal of the game on a power play goal and added an assist. It was Shore's first goal of the Tournament to go along with five assists.

The U.S. broke the game open late in the second period, taking advantage of Czech penalty problems with two power-play goals in a five-minute span to go ahead 4-0. American Austin Czarnik was the biggest nemesis for the Czechs, putting in three goals, including two in the second-period surge.
Team USA will face Finland in the semifinals on Wednesday at 6:30 AM MT.
