I wonder if they've ever had to re-take a team photo after winning the league title before, like they did with Rhett's group a couple months ago? That was incredibly odd to see unfold.

This was one of the best teams in the history of DU ice hockey. Unfortunately NCAA sanctions prevented them from capturing what should have been another National Championship:

"Johnston’s 1977-78 Denver team stormed out to a 33-6-1 record, a No. 1 national ranking and a WCHA title, but was not eligible for the NCAA tourney due to the NCAA sanctions. Boston University, under hot goalie Jim Craig, would win the NCAA title, but many believed the best team the country never had the chance to prove it."
