The University of Denver Hockey Alumni Association is planning a trip to Minnesota this winter to watch the Pioneers take on the Golden Gophers on February 11-12, 2011 in Minneapolis. The weekend also coincides with "Hockey Day in Minnesota 2011."Many DU Hockey Alums reside in Minnesota, so it will be a great opportunity for everyone to cut loose in the Twin Cities.

We chad a great time in Madison last year. Let's do it again in Minneapolis. Count me in!
Any idea how many alums live in Minnesota?
I would say there are probably at least 50 ex-DU hockey players living in Minnesota, and probably another 3,000 DU school non-hockey alums living there.
In other words, getting 100-200 DU people to show up is very attainable.
Sure would be nice topic of conversation if DU treats the Gophers the same way we did last season....either way - for those of you that are going to this.... make sure you remind everyone there how it went for them last season against the Pioneers
We took Boone (Scott)with us to Madison. We stayed close in case but the fans were cool with him. Let's try to repeat with Boone in Minneapolis.
