EDIT: Looks like site has taken down the Denver section
Some enterprising DU students have teamed with an internet clothing company to offer a wide range of Boone inspired products. They've got some pretty interesting stuff. Check it out.
I don't think the administration has handled these online vendors very well. There's obviously a demand for custom DU apparel, and for Boone-themed apparel. I wish the administration would embrace the situation and simple make a little licensing fee on the items sold. I don't have any DU apparel -- but I was thinking about a $100 order yesterday before the site went down. Now nothing... :(
When Chancellor Coombe announced that Boone would not be the offical mascot in his email to students in 2008, he never could have imagined the backlash or how this situation would eventually play out.
He was banking on the whole matter quickly dying. Instead the Alumni built the mascot, Boone's more popular than ever and clearly there are badly needed dollars that the athletic department is losing out on.
We've created this successful grass-roots movement based on the Boone identity and its taken on a life of its own.

I just ordered two shirts. I'll let you know how they turn out.
Supposedly some of the net proceeds go to DU Spirit Organizations on campus.
I'll try and get more details.
Go Denver Football!
They sure have a lot of "Denver Football" attire. Funny stuff Dirty...
They might as well have a BCS Champions 2011--Denver Football
The DU football team could probably beat CU.
DU football only has one less victory than the University of Minnesota this season.
where on the site can you find those shirts? I couldn't find them...
Looks like the site was taken down. Probably some sort of trademark issue with DU.
DG -- Did you t-shirts ship before they took the site down? If so, I wish I had placed my order. :(
My card has been charged and the order is still in the system. So we'll see.
On a related issue. I spoke to someone working in Magness and supposedly DU's new hockey jerseys have been ordered.
Obviously they want to get rid of the old stock first.
