Good article on Bennett. It's great that hockey's footprint in California continues to grow.
I think Bennett has looked a little overwhelmed thus far. Not unusual for a freshman. But you can tell he has loads of potential.
I like this story better than the one in the Denver Post. I get a better idea of him as a student and athlete.
Don't get me wrong - the whole Crosby on Draft Day thing is actually pretty fricking cool; but I don't know if he's hockey's biggest superstar. That could be anyone with a recognizable name doing that and everyone would say so and so is hockey's greatest - Yzerman, Gretzky, Sakic, Roy, Messier, yada yada..... Good for Bennett though - enjoy watching him now because he'll probably be playing for the Stanley Cup some day.
