Just a reminder to make sure everyone emails the Denver Post a question for Gwozdecky. More questions shows the Post that there is interest in college hockey and equates to more ink for the Pioneers down the road.

Will our pep band be in attendance Friday and Saturday nights?

To show you how idiotic the polls are.... let's start a little bet. "IF" Denver was to sweep the Eagles (and I'm not saying they can or will).... IF IF IF that were to happen - how far up in the rankings do you think DU would be come next Monday morning?? It's all reactionary. You wait & see. If BC comes in here & has a bad outing.. and loses maybe even one of the games, all the sudden, the polls change. You watch.

Does anyone know if the new sweaters are available for purchase?

Anon 2:32,

I wondered the same thing. I checked the online store last week and didn't see any of the new jerseys for sale. The only ones I saw are the 60th anniversary version and the old Adidas versions.

What a shocker, DU with no clue about merchandising. They are really going crazy with the designs again this year. Nothing like the word "Denver", the word "Hockey" and two crossed sticks to get you excited about supporting the program. Did that take two or three seconds to design? They took more time on deciding how big the Adidas logo should be on the back of the shirts.

It will take them the whole year to have the new jerseys available. It only took them a whole year to make the 60th anniversary jersey available for more than the opening weekend.

Hey everyone,

Looking for 2 student tickets for Friday. It's been awhile since I've been to a game, but it's time to jump back on the wagon. Any luck?

I'm on here all the time. Let me know.

Thanks,

Student/Undergrad Alumnus

Denver Post is now reporting that Denver's Nick Shore has a broken wrist and likely won't play this weekend. That makes three likely regular DU players out of the lineup - Shore, Jackson and Wrenn.

He was the third line center, so this is going to force the Pioneers into some line shifting...

So, I noticed DU still shows the frickin chicken (Ruckus) on the spirit section of thier website. Is THIS the year, when Boone & Ruckus come face to face? Screw the hockey; I would pay MONEY to see Ruck & B look each other in the eye, at center ice in Mag.....
Can we make that happen????
