This is what the 8' by 2' Fastsigns Banner will look like. Fans will be able to sign the Banner on Friday Night at Magness Arena.

Thanks go out to the alumni that are putting this together.

Wow. Putting the sign together is such a great gesture. I'll be there to sign it and thank everyone involved. The last part of the itiniary...have DU student fly to Minn and back on Sat... that is truly an amazing touch and obviously one that doesn't come cheap. Bravo!

1) We're probably going to need a bigger banner.

2) Have people "sign small".

3) Perhaps the seleted student going to Minnesota needs an appropriate costume....:)

The banner is 2' x 8'. The pictures take up a lot of room. I anticipate that people are going to have to sign on the back. And yes, they will have to keep the signatures small. I hope everyone that wants to sign has an opportunity.

As someone who hated the ND Sioux more than anything in the world, I have to say that the out pour of support from the Sioux Nation has been overwhelmingly heartwarming.

Get better Jesse!

Who's the DU student going to Minny with the banner?

DU Sophomore Zeke Perez will be representing the students, alums and fans and deliver the banner to Jesse's Hospital on Saturday.

Obviously its a big honor for Zeke to carry the Banner up to Minneapolis. He is thrilled to be participating.

No idea if he will be able to visit with Jesse and the family, but at the very least we will know that the Banner made it to the Hospital within 12 hours of collecting the last signatures at Magness Arena.

After Zeke returns to Denver at 3:15 he will be wisked down to Colorado Springs to witness DU play CC in Colorado Springs.

The Student Senate is putting together a Gift Basket from the DU student body.

Zeke will deliver the basket to the Martin's along with the Banner and the "Pioneer Nation Shirt."

The DU Clarion student newspaper is putting together an article on Zeke's journey to Minnesota.

I'm not a student but I live in the DU area. Big DU Pio fan - I could not attend the game tonight; will there be a chance to sign Jesse Martin's banner sometime this weekend? I've been attending games when I can afford to buy a ticket, for the last 10 years. Hang in there Jesse; your surgery will go well:D

Hey - question.....Is there an address to send cards to for those of us who didn't sign the banner?
Please post it.

I'm pretty sure that if Miller Baird ran for mayor of Denver tomorrow he would have 6,000 votes in his pocket. Thanks Miller & Debbie for an amazing display of leadership.

If you missed out on signing the Banner or live out of town, mail a get well card to the Athletic Department.

I'm sure they will be able to forward it to Jesse.
