Brittain posted his first collegiate shutout and recorded a .937 save percentage at North Dakota in weekend play. The freshman from Calgary, Alberta, stopped all 33 shots on goal Saturday as the Pioneers defeated North Dakota 3-0.

He stopped 26 of 30 shots in the Pioneers' 4-3 loss Friday at North Dakota.

Congrats to Brittain. He really seems to be getting more comfortable out there. I wonder where this leaves Adam Murray?

Brittain was WCHA Rookie of the week last week. He has been very impressive thus far.

Better keep Murray ready. Things can change in a matter of minutes. Way to go Sam.
