That draft eligble thing is big with Red line - they are looking at recruits through an NHL prospect lens, rather than looking at how these recruits will help college teams win.

While there is some overlap, the best NHL prospects don't always comprise the best college teams.

Lot's of good college players get overlooked by Red Line, especially the little guys.

Which guys in our recruiting class other than Mayfield are NHL prospects and why?

Five DU players/recruits are expected to be drafted this summer by NHL clubs.

Scott Mayfield & Nick Shore should go in the first or second rounds.

Joey LaLeggia and Zac Larraza could be taken anywhere from the third to 7th Rounds.

LaLeggia would be selected much higher if he was taller/bigger framed.

Larraza has the size, but not the explosive scoring touch just yet, but has been ranked by NHL Central Scouting as a Top 100 Player.

Josiah Didier may go between the fourth and 7th rounds.

Does anyone know how much a subscription cost to that USHR?

In light of Wrenn's departure, I wonder where Van Voorhis fits in next year? We lose Nutini for sure but possibly have Donovan back, along with Ryder, Lee, Makowski, and Phillips. Plus Mayfield and the Italian Stallion are coming in. I haven't heard much chatter about Van Voorhis--might he be stuck on the bench?

Van Voorhis will play in the USHL next season and come to DU in 2012.

US Hockey report costs $132 per year.

Wow Van Voorhis to USHL...is that a fact? If this is true and with Wrenn gone do you think we can pick up another solid forward for next year? Do we have eyes on anyone? Any big names left out there?

With two redshirt seniors on the team next season, Donovan's plans unknown at this time, Van Voorhis deferring admission & Wrenn's just announced departure its hard to know where DU stands with available scholarship dollars.

Hard to imagine that DU could just scoop up a quality forward at this late juncture, but its always possible that someone that they were after previously would rather play for DU than another school.

I haven't heard any names being thrown around.

Anyone know anything about Jacobson from Janesville in the NAHL?

The 2011 draft class might possibly be one of the worst in years.
