The Sioux weekend will be the second last weekend of the regular season. There will be one more series after that, just no sure of the opponent.

Great time two years ago in Madison. Looking forward to a repeat performance.

There's a lot to like about this schedule.

The fact that the CC & UND games will be while the students are on campus should make for some epic nights in Magness.

DU recruit Dakota Mermis will likely be playing for the USNDT should make if fun for DU fans to get a look at this exciting prospect.

Awesome potential road trips to Boston and Madison. Start planing those trips over the summer.

The schedule in Feb will be amazing with name brand opponents every weekend. Hopefully DU will be playing their best hockey by then.

Didn't DU do an inter-squad scrimmage for a pre-season game one year - like within the past 10 years or so? A crimson & gold game?? Or am I confused with when the Avs did thier scrimmage at Magness?

That last month is a serious meatgrinder. Hope DU can stock up on a big body or two....

I'm a little shocked there is the idea of facing North Dakota at the end of the season. We might as well play CC instead... at least the injury count is lower.

I'm personally extremely psyched about the Denver Cup next season.

Having Princeton, Providence, & Miami in town will be a treat for college hockey fans...not to mention the fact that rescheduling the tournament now precludes the World Juniors from poaching the best talent on the ice.

I'm definitely looking forward to Thanksgiving in Denver!!!

This could be the last chance to see Minny play at DU as the B10HC will start in 2013/14 and DU will probably go to Minny in the 2012/13 season before Minny bolts the WCHA.

No only that, but I think Minnesota will have no interest in ever traveling to Denver for non-league games once they join the BTHC, just as Michigan and Michigan State have never been back to the DU campus since leaving the WCHA in 1980-81.

The Gophers will fill their non-league slate with Minnnesota schools and cupcakes visiting Mariucci.

They may never have to leave the state again for a non-league game, except maybe across the border to North Dakota...

That last six weeks is a nightmare gauntlet for DU...

With what we bring back at forwards, defense and goalie gotta think we could go undefeated. Aww and sitting in Tampa with the NC trophy ..

Undefeated? I really do wish...however, it ain't gonna happen. Expect at least 5 losses minimum, even if we do claim the NC. Not even the '60-61 team was undefeated and they only played 32 games including the tourney...we will play in the mid 40s, so losses here and there are inevitable.

Based on what I see here, I would like to see "The Cornhuskers" here for Homecoming. A real challenge for both teams. And if so, I would hope UNO would muster up a nice road trip for thier faithful fans over here to Denver. That would be a stern early test at home for the Pioneers, after thier little Boston Tea Party. How many days till Team USA??? BRING IT!

Well I can really see us going undefeated in the WCHA it will be very watered down next year and no one returns the firepower that we do.

How is the WCHA going to be "watered down" next year? Just curious.
