Good for Dr. Evil.

Now DU needs to find a goaltending-oriented assistant coach.

Ideas?

Ring of fire was on top of this very early. Also, he always writes good copy.. I think he's Swami under cover.

Lalond did an incredible job with Chevy and Brittain. So thanks Derek for a job well done.

The last two DU assistants have received head coaching gigs at RPI & now the USHL.

I'm sure Gwozdecky's email will be humming with resumes over the weekend. They'll almost certainly stick to the formula and go after the best goaltending coach available.

Congrats to LaLonde. I'm surprised Green Bay signed him. I heard Derek was demanding one million dollars.

Congrats to Derek, well deserved!!

I'll throw out some potential names for goalie coach: Berkhoel and Dubie.

D.U. 78 Yuuu gutit!!! betkie would be great. He has a sales job up in Minn. and I'll bet would love to come back here. he is ( in my humble opinion) the most valuable player we have ever had. the saves he made in the springs and in that 6 on 3 in boston are above all other feats that D.U. players have ever made when importance is considered.

Thought Green Bay had left us alone since Miller had not been interviewing there.

But, Good Luck to LaLonde!

BTW,Dubie sounds good to me :-}

This actually plays in DU's favor in the long run, because we're going to need a goalie recruit in a year or 2. By then, Derek should be solidified up there in his job.... so I hope he & Gwozdecky work out a little gentlemans agreement as part of him leaving, that he's "owes us" a hot recruit from the USHL some day. I'd trust Lalonde's goalie recommendations over anyone else in the country. I hope the Denver relationship expands with the Gamblers because of this. BTW, Berkohel works in Michigan for Vaughn, not Minnesota.
