Denver Post: Beau Bennett Transforms DU's Offense

In four games without sophomore winger Beau Bennett, the University of Denver hockey team failed to produce a victory and combined for just seven goals (1.75 per game). With Bennett, the 2010 No. 1 draft pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins​, DU is 4-1 and averaging 5.2 goals per game.

Towards the end of last year the line of Mermis,Bennet and Nick Shore was coming on strong. I keep waiting for Gwoz. to put Mermis back with those two.

SOME PLAYERS ARE PLAYING SOFT RIGHT NOW AND ARE GETTING KNOCKED OFF THE PUCK TO EASY, SOME HAVE TO START GETTING STRONGER ON THE PUCK THE WAY DENVER IS PLAYING RIGHT NOW THEY HAVE TO BE MORE AGGRESSIVE POSITIONS ARE NOT GIFTS THEY SHOULD BE EARNED THAT GOES FOR ICE TIME TOO YOU WANT TO PLAY THEN PAY THE PRICE ONLY A FEW ARE PAYING THE PRICE RIGHT NOW TEAM HAS TO WAKE UP

While Bennett is a very good player lets hope one player is not the difference between a good season and a bad one.
