Didn't expect DU to be ranked so high in the media poll. I'll take it though. It was also pretty interesting that Jussi and Sam received votes for goalie of the year. I think only 4 goalies received any.

Also, fwiw, DU women's soccer ranked 18th in Soccer America poll.

The last time DU finished below 4th in the WCHA was 2002-03, when they finished 7th.

Since that time they've been the most consistent program in the WCHA.

That's pretty damn impressive. Really starting to get excited for the upcoming season. First exhibition game in just over a week!

Guesses on line combos? I have no idea what to predict. The only thing I'm sure of is that 2 of our top 3 lines will be centered by Shores.

Levin/N.Shore/Doremus
Ostrow/Q.Shore/Loney
Larraza/Knowlton/J.Mermis
Tabrum/Arnold/Jacobson/Allen

Phillips/LaLeggia
Mayfield/Makowski
Didier/D.Mermis/Zajac

By God, if there were ever the perfect opportune time to bring back the Pac-Man-inspired "CC Sucks" spray-painted banner...... this would be it. Picture it: right as Obama & Mit get underway.... it mysteriously unfurls from the rafters.....DG, make it happen! I also fully expect, at some point during the Debate, that someone yells "CC SUCKS".

@ ihsan34

We have so much in common! I follow blogs about leather office furniture in Fort Worth TX and read The Holy Quran "religiously" too. I just met you and this is crazy, I vote no condom, let's have a baby, maybe...

Finally, the Magnus Center is being used for something useful. Lord knows the hockey team just seems to waste a few hours playing what they believe to be hockey during their home games.

hey Dexter, it's spelled Magness. Obviously, spelling is a required course at UND.
