In conversations during Tuesday's media day at Magness Arena, University of Denver coach George Gwozdecky and team captain Paul Phillips were really getting defensive.

That's what they employed for the exhibition against UBC...
And who knows; wasn't Sugar Ray the Boxer who used to wave one glove around so the opponent concentrated on that glove; then he KO'd them with the other glove and they never saw it coming. If they try to get opposing teams to put all thier focus on the defense and goalies, maybe one of the new forwards will emerge as a skater and a goal scorer, and they'll be able to sneak by as everyone is worried what Denver's D is doing...
